AKSSF held and recorded a technical assistance workshop on September 8-9, 2011, to assist AKSSF applicants. This workshop provided guidance related to internal controls and business/financial management systems relevant to managing federal funds. NOTE: Although this workshop remains a good introduction to federal grant management and responsibilities, please note that grant regulations changed for all federal grants awarded on or after December 26, 2014, including all grants that currently fund the AKSSF program. Your organization should be thoroughly familiar with current federal grant regulations at 2 CFR 200 which includes revised cost principles, uniform administrative requirements, and audit regulations for all types of entities (with the exception that audit regulations do not pertain to commercial/for-profit organizations).
